Great Lakes Museum
In the summer of 2025 I visited the Great Lakes Museum in Kingston, Ontario, on the shore of Lake Ontario. The museum, itself, was chock full of interesting information, exhibits of equipment, and models of many lake-going vessels over the years. The pride of the collection, however, is the SS Keewatin; a lake steamship that was build in 1907, then shipped into port in sections as it was too big to fit through the locks. It was the peak of luxury travel in the early 20th Century and was in service until 1965.
Snoqualmie Falls
This picture was taken on my 2025 visit to Washington State and shows one of my favourite places on Earth; Snoqualmie Falls. When I first visited the town of Snoqualmie, I had no idea of its connection to the TV show "Twin Peaks", but had a strange feeling that I had somehow been there before. Clearly, I hadn't.
The Gamers: Dorkness Falls
Apparently, due to inflation, Andy Worhol's "15 minutes of fame" is now only worth 2 seconds/2 words. That's my total screen time in the film "The Gamers: Dorkness Falls" which should be released some time in late 2026. It's the fourth and final installment in the long running "The Gamers" series of films.I did some behind-the-scenes on-set photography during a day of shooting, which is available in my gallery. I wish that I'd gotten more opportunity to get portraits of the cast in costume but, sadly, it was impossible. Maybe next time, if there ever is a next time.
Fort Flagler, Marrowstone Island, Washington
A view of the beautiful Fort Flagler Historical State Park. Thids is one of several forts that were built prior to World War 1, to guard the entry to Puget Sound. The batteries have long since been removed but the buildings still stand and, as you can see from the picture, dozens of deer seem to enjoy making their home in the park. The crows also seem more than happy here.
